ROADING AND FORESTRY DEVELOPMENT

Bryant Earthworks Ltd has been involved in the construction, design and maintenance of forestry roading throughout the Marlborough district for many years. We are the prime contractor for 9 of the 11 major forest management organisations in Marlborough. We aim to manage your project from the initial stages by discussing and incorporating your requirements, while offering our experience and expertise. We work along with our clients during all facets of the project, to ensure budget and time frames are followed and any concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Bryant Earthworks Ltd can also provide for the rehabilitation of roads, ongoing roading maintenance as required and the construction and maintenance of forestry work sites, all the while ensuring waterways are protected.

AGRICULTURAL LAND DEVELOPMENT

Bryant Earthworks Ltd has completed farm irrigation work, farm effluent ponds, culvert installations, house sites, scrub clearing, driveways and cow lane development. We provide free quotes with no obligation. We are here to turn your ideas into reality.

BARGE SITES

At Bryant Earthworks Ltd, we specialise in barge site construction. We have been involved in the development of several barge sites in the Marlborough Sounds area, providing barge access for farm and forestry operations. All our work is done within environmental guidelines and specifications

CARTAGE

The transporter has the capacity to carry 16 tonne to a capacity of 45 tonne. Bryant Earthworks Ltd operates a modern fleet of trucks and trailer units that can fulfil most cartage requirements. For all cartage of gravel/rock/soil Bryant Earthworks Ltd will deliver.

BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

Bryant Earthworks Ltd specialise in forestry, farm and vineyard concrete bridge and culvert construction. Temporary wooden bridges are available to hire for forest creek crossing.

VINEYARD DEVELOPMENT AND CONTOURING

We have a modern well maintained range of equipment, with experienced operators to prepare the ground for GPS Ripping, land contouring, posting development, drainage and irrigation.

DAM CONSTRUCTION

Dam construction encompasses a large part of our companies services. Ranging from 20,000m3 through to 150,000m3, lined or unlined, we have successfully delivered numerous contracts in dam construction. We also specalise in large reservoir and effluent pond construction. Our specialised team can manage your project from start to finish.

HEAVY HAULAGE

Transporting and Piloting - We can transport all oversize & obscure loads up to 45 tonne. There are class 2 oversize pilots available.

We can transport:

Forestry equipment
Construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, rollers, graders, dump trucks and compactors
Agricultural and viticultural tractors and harvesters

In essence anything that can be lifted, winched or driven and will sit on a deck, we can move.

QUARRY SUPPLIES

Our quarries are located at Canvastown, Pine Valley and Hillersden (Marlborough). Bryant Earthworks Ltd has the ability to extract raw materials and produce high quality products that our many projects require. We supply gravels not only to our large customer base, but also to the general public.

FORESTRY

In 2007 Bryant Earthworks Limited expanded its services with the introduction of B.E.L Forestry Limited. We have two ground based crews, providing high quality services in tree harvesting and logging operations. We pride ourselves on strategic and operational harvest planning and are here to help guide you through the process from road formation / skid site design through to the completion of harvest. We are also happy to accommodate smaller wood lots and windbreak maintenance and removal.
